At New Life Community Church, we’re passionate about creating a place where children and young people can discover Jesus, build lasting friendships, and have loads of fun in a safe, welcoming environment.

Friday Night Kids’ Clubs

Lighthouse, Fortress, and Rooted are our vibrant Friday evening groups, running during term time. Each group is designed to help kids and teens connect, thrive, and grow in faith through games, laughter, and Bible stories all led by caring, trained leaders.

Lighthouse (Reception–Year 2)

4:30pm–5:45pm

Bright beginnings for our youngest, with play, crafts, and stories about Jesus’ love.

Fortress (Years 3–6)

6:00pm–7:30pm

A place to build friendships, play awesome games, and explore faith together.

Rooted (Years 7–13)

7:45pm–9:30pm

A dynamic space for teens to hang out, tackle big questions, and grow deeper roots in Christ.

Spring Term 2025

First session: Friday 9th January

Half term break: Friday 20th February (no groups)

Last session: Friday 27th March

New here? On your child’s first visit, we’ll ask you to fill out a quick form with contact and health info to keep everyone safe. While Lighthouse and Fortress are running, parents are invited to relax in our café, grab a drink, meet other families, and enjoy the community.

Your child’s safety is our priority. All our children’s and youth leaders are DBS checked and trained in safeguarding.

Treasure Hunters – Sunday Mornings

During our Sunday services, kids embark on their own adventure in our “Treasure Hunters” groups. After joining in the start of worship, children head off to age-specific sessions packed with games, crafts, and Bible stories that bring Jesus to life.

Creche: Up to 20 months

Toddlers: 20 months–3 years

Minis: Nursery & Reception (3–5 years)

Max: Years 1–6

Our friendly team will help you find the right group. Once a month (usually the second Sunday), we gather for an All-Age Service school-aged kids join the main service, while preschoolers still enjoy their group time.

Joyful Noise

A lively midweek group for pre-schoolers and their families! Each session begins with singing and a Bible story, followed by free play. Spaces are limited, so booking is essential.

Grow Groups for Teens

For our older youth, Grow Groups meet every other Tuesday night at the church. These small groups are a safe space to talk about life, faith, and everything in between. Want to know more? Email [office@newlifecommunitychurchuk.org]
